Maraga and other Judges answers Raila on October 26 poll

It seems Raila odinga shot himself on the foot by boycotting the October 26 poll.
Judges have noted that Raila did not officially withdraw from the race and he was Still in the race despite him publicly asking his supporters not to show up and vote.
The judges noted that did not follow the law when boycotting the elections.
He did not sign form 24A so his name was still in the ballot.
On ability of the iebc officials to hold elections the court noted that
"We find no validity in the petitioners' claims that the electoral officials lacked authority to oversee repeat elections"
As read by ojwang ,thus iebc oficials were fit to hold the elections.

On election violence witnessed in kisumu iebc had to this to say
"IEBC exercised the powers conferred in it under Regulation 64(2) 2012 by moving polling stations to another location as a result of violence. No person complained that sh/e couldn't find voting station"

Basically the judges agreed that the elections were held according to the law and odinga should have obeyed a court order and participate in the elections.
