Kitui leaders and elders have already endorsed the late nyenze successor.
According to Kitui elders Edith nyenze should succeed her husband without need for election.
Their sentiments were supported by charity ngilu who said that the wife must be elected unopposed.
"I have heard what Kitui West wants, Edith Nyenze you will carry this seat in your shoulder and I will campaign for you. Hiyo pesa IEBCmnataka kutumia mtupe tuwekee wananchi maji ."
Loosely translated to mean that there is no need for new election as nyenze wife has the ability to lead them and should be elected unopposed.
Nyenze passed on last week just 2 months after being elected and fronting the wife is an act of good will as the leadership will remain in the family.
Nyenze was one of the most popular ukambani leaders who supported reelection of Uhuru Kenyatta in October 26.
