A farmer from mumias constituency has promised to give Uhuru Kenyatta sugarcane as gift during swearing in ceremony.
The farmer has said the only gift he can afford is the sugarcane and has assured him of the gift.
“The only gift I can afford are these pieces of cane. We are grateful that cane farming is now profitable, thanks to his (President Uhuru) efforts,” Ogoti stated.
"I will link up with one of my relatives who knows Nairobi well to take me to the event. I have confidence that I will reach him (Uhuru) and present my gift,” he was quoted by the media.

Asman Ogoti has already parjed tge cane at his Mayala village in Mumias East.
He will be given the opportunity to give the President tommorow for his efforts to revive the industry.
