Joho and amoson kingi last week held meetings to call for succession from coast region from Kenya.
The leaders led by Mombasa governor Ali hassan joho said that their call for succession is justified and that they will push for it in the coming days.
But Omar has revealed to Joho that succession of the coast region is impossible after the promulgation of the new constitution in 2010.

He said that under the new constitution dispensation coastal region is fully represented and they should be proud of it.
One thing the former senator noted is that under the new constitution, coastal region were given the kadhi courts where They can hear their cases without Christianity prejudice, something which was not available in the old constitution.
