Dennis muigai wangige came to the national limelight after witnessing two high profile Accidents over the past few weeks.
Wangige Who on the first incident said was a state pilot,and on the second incident said was A business man living in hurling ham Kenya was arrested few days after witnessing the second incident for impersonating a police officer.
Today it emerged the chief witness had a criminal record and the case is still pending in court.
Preliminary investigations have revealed that the ‘expert eyewitness’ who was at the scene of two high profile crashes has a criminal record.
Reports indicate that Dennis Muigai Ngengi was charged in a court in Kwale in 2014 for impersonating a Kenya Airforce Officer.
This comes after Ngengi was arrested by officers from the Directorate of Criminal
Investigations (DCI) in Ruiru, Kiambu on Thursday.
The police have now established that the witness is a impersonator and are still interogatting him to find more details.
