Raila odinga has expressed his interest not to vie in the upcoming poll unless there is a clean up in IEBC. Speaking in machakos here is what the NASA leader said.
"We are saying that we are not going back to the contest unless there is a well cleanup in the commission. [CEO Ezra] Chiloba and his team must go, not again will we allow a hyena to keep guard of our goats,” he was quoted by the star.
Raila odinga successfully demonstrated until the previous commission was removed.
It is saddening to see a leader of Raila Odin caliber calling for mass action against a commission which has elected most of its coalition leaders.
If they want commission change then all NASA leaders elected through IEBC must also step down.
There will be no time to elect new leaders within the 60 days framework given by The supreme Court and Raila odinga knows this very well and all he is interested his a caretaker government when elections are not held.
