Atwoli has called on president Uhuru Kenyatta not to worry about the supreme Court verdict.
Speaking in Nairobi atwoli urged the president to seek votes from the electrote since they are likely to vote for him again.

"Some of us were born voters. We will come and vote for you. We have no alternative. We will come and vote for you," he stressed.
"I voted for President Uhuru's father in 1969, I've been voting for President Moi throughout, I voted for Kibaki throughout. And I've been voting for Uhuru and my children will continue to vote like that," he said.
Atwoli was instrumental in bringing luhyas together and went ahead to endorse musalia mudavadi as luhya spokesman.
The fact that he voted for Uhuru Kenyatta shows that he has no confidence in Raila Odinga leadership style of empty rhetorics but would rather subscribe to Uhuru Kenyatta development oriented leadership style.
