FOLLOWING remarks by Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka and ODM candidate Esther Passaris at Uhuru Park on Saturday, I wish to state that I have changed my position and will not be voting for Esther tomorrow. My one vote will go to Rachael Shebesh of Jubilee.
Its my desire to ensure that not a single of my community members is elected on ODM ticket to ensure that we lie low individually and collectively.
I do this in the knowledge that the duty of an Women Rep is simply oversight, Legislation and Representation. In all those three Shebesh beats Esther.
My vote for her was based on auxiliary consideration which I now wish to discard. I have to change mind from someone I supported even during ODM nominations.
I wish her well though I'm aware that in the event she doesn't make it, there will always be a next time.
I however ask all those from Esther's community and also Jubilee members who intended to vote for her to abandon those intentions and cast your vote for Shebesh.
Finally, I must say that yesterday I admire Raila Odinga's grand-parenting skills. I want to give him more time and probably more yrs to continue doing that without the stresses of a Presidential office that can easily rob off those kids a sweet grandpa. On this, even Bonnie Khalwale is in agreement with me as demonstrated in the video clip tagged below.
