Uasin Gishu governor Jackson has now been branded a Nasa mole, by his opponent, Bundotich Buzeki, who is vying as an independent candidate.
According to Buzeki, Mandago, who has been a staunch supporter of Jubilee, and deputy president William Ruto, has been dining with Nasa, secretly.
He said: "We've always known that there are Jubilee moles in Nasa, led by Mandago. There's nothing more to hide," said Buzeki, Friday, two days after the five Nasa
principals endorsed Mandago, during a campaign rally at the 64 Stadium in Eldoret.
Buzeki who Nasa said was a project of DP Ruto, to 'wipe out' Mandago, said Mandago was now the sixth Nasa co-principal, after Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi, Moses Wetangula, and Isaac Ruto.
"He is now the sixth Nasa co-principal. They have always been five, but they are now six," added Buzeki, who has expressed optimism of sending Mandago home, come August 8, during elections day.
Buzeki supports President Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election, after losing to Mandago, in the April party primaries.
Mandago accepted Nasa endorsement, saying he was endorsed because of his track development record.
