Kenya Defence Force (KDF) have dealt militant group al-Shabaab a heavy blow after capturing one of its senior commanders.
KDF working alongside Kenyan counter terrorism operatives captured Ahmed Abdi Yare near the Kenya-Somalia border.
Yare is believed to have been one of the masterminds of West gate attack alongside the white widow a briton national who is still at large.
Yare will be instrumental to the kdf soldiers since he will provide them with crucial information about the militants.
