Reports from Somalia indicate that Kenya Defence Force (KDF) has engaged militant group al-Shabaab in a fierce fight.
According to the reports, the militants had ambushed a KDF convoy that was transporting military supplies.
has learnt that the attack occurred close to the Kenya-Somalia border.

Residents said the militants used heavy artillery during the ambush against the Kenyan soldiers.
KDF responded and managed to drive away the the terror fighters who suffered heavily.
The number of casualties from both sides is yet to confirmed as both Kenya and al-Shabaab are yet to release a statement
But it is reported the militants surffered alot and many of militants have been killed
