The news of the legislator's exit from ODM comes after a major fallout with the party's hierarchy.
Midiwo, has accused the party of rigging him out of the just concluded ODM primaries and pointed a finger at party leader Raila Odinga's elder brother Oburu, of being the man behind his downfall.
Midiwo, who is Raila's cousin, had also promised to destroy ODM if he was not handed the party ticket.
“ODM thinks that locking us out of the polls will stop us from criticising corruption and its secret ideals that have led to slow development in counties,” Midiwo was quoted.
