President Uhuru Kenyatta believes that he will win the August 2017 election by a wide margin, wider than his 2013 victory.

According to the law, a presidential candidate is declared winner if he garners 50% plus one of the total votes cast.
Uhuru is confident that he will garner 70% of the votes during the upcoming hotly contested election.
He said this was because his strongholds have registered more voters in the ongoing mass voter registration than those of his opponents.
