Uhuru said Kenya had experienced difficult times during after the 2007-08 post election violence and does not want the country to go back to that situation again.
“I think I have made my position very clear; Kenyans have gone through a lot of difficulties, especially after the 2007/2008 post-election violence that led to loss of life, property, and displacement of people, and I believe Kenyans made a very strong statement by passing the 2010 Constitution: that Kenya will never go back to those difficult times,” Uhuru said in the interview with the Nation.
