"I want to plead with the Kalenjin to stand with me in 2017 so that we finish what we started in 2007 and then we can talk over William Ruto's bid in 2022" - Hon Raila Odinga, Opposition Chief
Raila Odinga's Bomet adventure was a low key event that was even shunned by Governor Isack Ruto who is seeking to make peace with UhuRuto duo after reading the mood of Bomet residents. The local MP also skipped the former premier's event that was attended by a few disgruntled Jubilee rebels but his (Raila's) utterances will raise a political storm in his own no CORD Coalition.
Wiper Party boss, Hon Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka is still awaiting for an endorsement from Raila Odinga to be CORD's flag bearer as per 2013 MOU. But it seems Raila Odinga will not only run for presidency in 2017 but is also planning to enter into another pre-poll arrangement to back someone-else in 2022 other than Kalonzo Musyoka.
