How teargas Canister nearly killed me Issac Ruto narrates

Isaac Ruto comes from Hideout after Election lose and narrates his ordeal.
But Speaking to Citizen TV during an interview on Tuesday, Ruto Said He left for SA after a referral by his doctors.
"I did not go for a holiday, I was referred abroad by Nairobi hospital and was given two doctors who went with me," he said.
"My whole face was broken and they told me that if they could operate here would lose my eye because they had to fix the bones below the face."
Narrating the ordeal, Ruto Said doctors at the Nairobi Hospital could not operate on the bones since they would interfere with his eye bag.
"So They told me one side of my eye would very dry and they could remove it. But then they told me their options because the operation was to be done in seven days," he said.
Ruto Said He was told to either go to SA, Europe, America or India For the 'fixing of the bone'.
"That decision had to be made immediately. They Then Told me that I can't go to Europe because of the pressure in the plane that would cause more problems to my face," he said.He said they decided to go to South Africa where the operation was done adding that he did not lose his eye.
"There were no cuts because they did a minimal intrusion operation. It was a decision of four professors," he said.
Noting That the propaganda about his SA trip was due to politics, Ruto Said There was no truth to any gossip peddled around the matter.
"It was politics and they even said that it was a stone that hit me and yet it was a teargas canisters that moved and settled in my eye and broke all the bones in the face. We have the city scan," he said.
Ruto Said He still sees the doctors for regular check-ups.
"...and i still seethe same doctors. Even this last Week I saw them just for a check-up," he added.
Ruto Said An Officer threw the teargas canister at him when he asked why some youths had been arrested.
He was attending a church service at Njerian AGC, Silibwet Township ward when he received text messages of complaints by youths who were allegedly arrested.
