Chebukati and other two other remaining commissioners will be forced to resign beforehand end of this week.
Chebukati has vowed to remain put and not resign, but latest developments in anniversary towers will force him to resign.
Three commissioners resigned yesterday leaving chebukati with only 2 other commissioners.
The IEBC Act 2012 (Clause 5) states that “the quorum for the conduct of business at a meeting of the Commission shall be at least five members of the Commission.”
It further states that the CEO shall be the secretary of all the meetings of the commission.
With iebc commissioners resigned and iebc CEO suspended it means that chebukati will not have option but resign before end of this week.
