Today Kenyans work up to press conference where 3 commissioners led by vice chairperson Consolata nkatha and Paul kurgat and Margaret mwachoni resigned from their positions as iebc commissioners.
What does this means to Iebc chairman Chebukati and his CEO chiloba?
The resignations by iebc commissioners means that Chebukati will never make any decision in iebc because iebc decisions need a quaram of at least 5 commossioners, so far 4 have resigned leaving 3 only in the commission, controversial commissioner akombe was the first one to resign.
Iebc chairman Chebukati will now be left powerless until government appoints new commissioners.
As for chiloba he will also remain suspended until iebc commissioners are appointmented by government, the remaining commissioners don't have the quaram to discuss his situation so all iebc planned events will go on as planned even if problems arise since number of commissioners don't reach threshold to discuss any idea.
