Matiangi was today grilled by parliament on the Miguna Miguna saga and he said that Miguna Miguna arrogance and pride was what made him not allowed to enter the country.
According to matiangi Miguna Miguna tore papers he was to sign in order to enter the country.
Here is what Matiangi said when he was being grilled today by parliament.
"Miguna can fill the relevant immigration form to apply for citizenship. He can even return to the country as soon as this afternoon as long as the forms are filled. It's as simple as that," he told the committee.
"What we did was in compliance with the Immigration laws. No one is exempt. The Pope had his passport stamped on entry, President Obama had his passport stamped on entry. Even President Kenyatta had his passport stamped on entry last night on arrival from Mozambique.
"Miguna was not deported. We removed Miguna as an undocumented, unestablished passenger on transit to his last port of call," he stated.
What he actually meant is that miguna miguna should reapply for Kenya citizenship by filling relevant forms which will facilitate restoration of His Kenyan citizenship.
