In a Statement to news room Rails was angered on how matiangi answered questions on the Miguna Miguna saga and his response to judges here is full statement
I was very distraught to see our CS of Interior Fred Matiang'i making virulent attacks on the Judiciary and on specific members of the bench using a language that should not be on the lips of a State officer,In our Statement to the Nation, President Kenyatta and I urged every leader and every Kenyan to embrace the responsibilities they know to be theirs and help the nation reconcile and make progress. Matiang’i failed terribly in this,
It is unethical and irresponsible for a Sate officer to publicly denigrate another arm of government and to refer to judges as “evil, The CS appeared before Parliament to answer questions pertaining to abuse of rights of citizens and undermining the rule of law. Instead, he came out as the personification of impunity. Parliament should not allow itself to be a platform for State officers to make attacks on other arms of government, There is a clique of judges and lawyers who want to embarrass the government. It is a clique of judicial officers who want to drag us by the collar through trial by the public court,” he claimed.
This statement was issued pertaining yesterday questioning of Matiangi over Miguna Miguna deportation.
