Cs rotich has refuted claims by the media that the government is broke.
Speaking over the today the cabinet Secretary maintained that he did not mean what he said and claimed that the media quoted him out of context.

Rotich had said that the government revenue had fallen by over 80 billion after a tire some and cruesom electioneering period.
CS Rotich dared members of the fourth estate stating: "Tell me of a government that has ever gone broke?
He added: “The story was just that revenues have fallen behind, it was a sensational story, I have just come out of Eurobond with Sh200 Billion.”
The media had made headlines yesterday by saying that Kenya government is broke which was not true.
