Public Notice to all PSV Operators and the General Public.
We promised To Fix the Transport & Traffic Challenge as follows;
1) Enforce Traffic Law & Regulation. Team up with national government to fully operationalize NAMATA Act 2017. Incentivize motorist & pedestrian discipline.
2) Block-pave, light-up & CCTV Pedestrian sidewalks along all roads in Nairobi.
3) Implement the Nairobi Metropolitan Traffic Decongestion Plan in the Central Business District i.e. Uni-directional traffic movement; Dedicated Bus routes & lanes; Removal of on-street parking; Increase multi-story & sunken car parks; Build four main Park & Ride Stations to serve private motorists along Thika Road, Mombasa Road, Ngong Road & Waiyaki Way. Designate specific Drop & Pick Up points for PSVs; Allow over 60 passengers standing vehicles to use roads within CBD and Expand CBD to include westlands, Pangani, Eastleigh, Lusaka Road, Langata Road and Mbagathi Road
