We will join jubilee ukambani leaders claim

Ukambani leaders will not stay in the Opposition for the next five years, says Senator David Musila who lost the governor race.
Musial said on Monday that this is a move they are seriously considering.

"We have been in the Opposition for long and do not think it will be okay to stay there any longer," he told journalists.
But he added they are yet to talk to Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka about this.
"We have not talked to him since the elections and I don't know what he thinks but this is our view."

Election results for governor, national and county assembly seats across the Ukambani region are pointing to a gradual shift of power and Wiper's diminishing influence.
Although all Wiper MPs who defected to Jubilee lost their parliamentary seats, the party won fewer seats in both national and county assemblies compared to during the 2013 general election.
The party lost all the four governor seats it held during the 2017 elections. It has been said yhe results declared by IEBC sealed Kalonzo's political fate.
Observers say the triumphant Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua and Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Jnr will most likely control the Kamba vote bloc.
