After joining the case to support the petitioner (Raila Odinga) in proving his case that indeed Uhuru rigged the election, Aukot now claims he is not challenging Uhuru’s victory.
Through his lawyer, Elias Mutuma, Aukot said he is not opposed to Uhuru being declared the winner of the last Presidential contest by IEBC.

However, he added that he is opposed to the process that was used to declare him.
He noted that the audit of the election process established that there were a number of anomalies in the entire electoral process.
Mutuma claimed that IEBC had not accounted for all the Form 34As and 34Bs by the time the commission’s Chairman Wafula Chebukati declared Uhuru as the winner.
He said the election was free and fair and that Uhuru Kenyatta won ,the issue was that form 34As and 34Bs were not accounted for at the time of announcing the winner.
