Why does Raila think that he is entitled to the Kenyan presidency? There are so many Kenyans who suffered in detention and do not behave as if Kenya owes them anything, good example is Koigi Wamwere who was detained and latter lived in exile for many years.Charles Rubia and Kenneth Matiba both who were crippled and their estates destroyed by the Kanu regime, the late George Anyona who suffered so much and died poor the late Mirugi Kariuki whose family suffered so much and his wife who was a nurse sucked by the government while her husband was in dention. If it is about entitlement then all the children of the Kapenguria six should be given the chance to rule Kenya.Odingas are among the richest in Africa meaning that Moi never interfered with their wealth unlike all others mentioned here.Raila should explain to Kenyans the source of Odingas wealth. In fact the little goodwill and compassion some of us had in Raila no longer stand. The damage that Raila has done to this country is much more than the good he has done.It is in this light that some of us now view Raila including 1982 attempted coup!Raila should not remind us that Ngugi Wathiongo still gives his immense knowledge to another people in another country. What am simply saying Kenyans now are revisiting history to question if Raila even deserves anything, due to his frequent deconstructions to the Kenyan economy and literary holding the country hostage. When history is written again, Luo scholars will question all that Raila has done to their youth. We cannot continue changing the constitution, amendment bills, independent institutions etc so as to suit one person. Kenyans should love one another and stop being misled and live in peace.Long live Kenya!
