Wetangula is facing a fierce battle in bungoma senatorial race which has made him abandon raila odinga presidential race campaigns and focus on his senatorial bid.
Odm bungoma Senatorial candidate has claimed that he will not step down for wetangula after he pleaded with them to allow him to go alone.
Speaking to the media Boniface nyongeza the odm candidate claimed that he won't step down for wetangula.
He was quoted by the media saying
“We have held a meeting and agreed that none of us will step down for Ford Kenya,” Senatorial candidate Boniface Nyongesa
Apparently wetangula has no support in the ground also after residents want him to concentration on the non existent post he was given by raila odinga.
Nyongeza also revealed that wetangula has lost ground by claiming that.
“He has been fighting us even more than Jubilee and he is a Co-Principal. So we have said that since we supported him before, he is the one who should respectfully step down since in the 2013 by-elections, he asked us to step down and we did so that he won,” he stated. “Wetangula will make ODM to lose all the votes in Bungoma.”
Wetangula does not believe raila will win the next election so he is fighting for senate race with his life.
Wetangula might lose to the odm candidate who raila odinga openly campaign for angering bungoma senatorial candidate moses wetangula.
He has already seen that he might lose.
