Iebc is in court to challenge the printing case in which the high Court threw out its chosen firm to print the tender citing lack of public participation.
Through its lawyer Kamau Karori, the IEBC told the Appellate Judges Erastus Githinji, Roselyne Nambuye, Alnasir Vishram, Otieno Odek and Jamila Mohammed that the court order issued last week nullifying the tender to print Presidential ballot papers may stall the election scheduled for August 8 th.
This might stall iebc preparation for the election which has less than 30 days to be held.

If iebc looks for another printing firm it will take up to 50 days to prepare for the election from procurement,awarding of tender and printing.
Distribution and preparation might take another 30 days pushing the election to October or November.
