An opinion poll company that predicted US President Donald Trump’s win in November last year, has predicted the outcome of Kenya’s General Election in August.
Kenyans go to the poll on August 8th and the race is between incumbent President Uhuru Kenyatta and National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential candidate, Raila Odinga.
According to Straw Poll, if elections are held today, Uhuru will garner 60 percent of the total votes cast compared to Raila Odinga at 39 percent.
1 percent of the voters were undecided.
Over 82, 000 Kenyans voted with 49,000 voting for Uhuru and his Deputy William Ruto while 33,000 casting their vote in favour of Raila Odinga and his aging running mate, Kalonzo Musyoka.
