He noted that even though he supports Uhuru’s re-election, he will not waste his time and money to campaign for him as he has been doing.
“From now going forward, I will not campaign for Uhuru but myself.”
“I will not go out to campaign his re-election or even Jubilee,” Peter Kenneth said.
“I will campaign for myself as I sell my agenda to the people of Nairobi.”
“I will tell them what I will do them if elected Governor but will not waste time marketing Uhuru anymore,” he added.
Peter Kenneth lost to Senator Mike Sonko in the recent Jubilee primaries for Nairobi gubernatorial race before he ditched Jubilee to run as an independent candidate.
Efforts by President Uhuru Kenyatta to talk him out of the race in support of Sonko has not yield any fruit as Kenneth has maintained that he would be on the ballot come August.
