Raila hands Onyango Oloo direct Ticket

Former TNA Onyango Oloo was named the winner of ODM polls in Kisumu Central constituency after the polls were re-tallied on Thursday.
Election panel chairman Bernard Omondi said Oloo won the polls with 20,998 votes followed by Fred Ouda who got 11,960 while Ken Obura emerged third with 3,287 votes.
He rubbished the results, read by constituency returning officer Laban Bosire, which said Obura won the polls as announced on Wednesday.
Bosire said Obura won with 24,601 votes followed by Fred Outa (13,613), Oloo (5,090), Richard Ogendo (2,072), Ken Nyagudi (850) and Elphas Oyugi (87).

The panel's chairman said Bosire declared the incumbent winner of the polls while under duress, adding a new twist to the ticket row.
The said results were read out at Lions High school amid tight security. Police hurriedly escorted Bosire out of the polling station as tension built in the school.
