Kalonzo Musyoka has defended Francis Nyenze following the latter's threats that the Wiper leader will bolt out of NASA.
He said Nyenze expressed a valid personal opinion that does not warrant the level of castigation that has greeted the assertions.
"Nyenze has nothing to retract. Even Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho and Junet Mohamed said no one else but Raila Odinga must be named candidate and we never heard them being reprimanded," Kalonzo said on Friday after a meeting with Wiper members.
"No one has gone for them. Let us respect other people's opinion. I don't want to even talk about this matter," he added.
The Wiper leader said he is in the National Super Alliance to stay adding that he will not quit even it means he remains alone in the coalition.
