Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has been warned that he will be alone should he break away from CORD.

Kalonzo is in the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy(CORD) with ODM leader Raila Odinga and Ford Kenya's Moses Wetangula and each is fighting to be made the coalition's flag bearer.

The three have also teamed up with Musalia Mudavadi of ANC and Kanu Secretary General Nick Salat to form the National Super Alliance(NASA).

But Kalonzo has been demanding to be made the CORD presidential candidate ahead of the August 2017 election saying he has sacrificed enough for his two partners, a move that has been translated by his key party members to mean that he plans to bolt out of the coalition, the Nation reports.

According to his Wiper Party key members, the incessant by Kalonzo that he be given the ticket is a clear indication that he plans to vie for the presidency out of CORD.

But he has been warned by his three Wiper bigwigs and senators Mutula Kilonzo Jr (Makueni), David Musila(Kitui) and Machakos' Johnson Muthama that he is on his own should he make a decision to break way from his partners.

"It is a shame Wiper party has portrayed a bad image on the national stage. We look indecisive and concentrating on the wrong things. The party has no choice but to remain focused within CORD," Senator Kilonzo is quoted by Nation.
