The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) has lost another legislator to its rival the Jubilee Party.

Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) has been dealt a major blow after an MP defected.
This is after Kisii County Women Representative Mary Sally Otara, decamped from ODM to Jubilee.
Otara claimed her defection was influenced by infighting by members of the party in the county.
The legislator claimed she had been loyal to ODM but the party heartlessly chased her away.

According to Citizen digital, Otara was received at her new political outfit by party supporters and aspirants at a special meeting at Sameta Boys’ High school in Bobasi Constituency.
The MP accused ODM of ignoring and side stepping her in its party affairs.
“I have remained loyal to the ODM party, but the leadership of the party has literally chased me away. They no longer involve me in the party programs and they seem to have preferred candidates,” Otara is quoted by Citizen digital
