Additionally all odm aspirants have to pay 20K for Life Membership.
Is ODM a business empire or a political party?
As a democratic party these exaggerated nomination fees are in my opinion unfair to women, youth and PWDs, this promotes uneven political play field due to unequal access to political finance.
This rapid growth of campaign expenditure has exacerbated this problem. The huge amount of money involved in elections campaign makes it impossible for those without access to large private funds to compete on the same level as those who are well funded.
