political analyst, Mutahi Ngunyi, has given President Uhuru Kenyatta a formula of dealing with CORD leader, Raila Odinga, who has refused to dialogue with President Uhuru Kenyatta today.
On Thursday, President Uhuru Kenyatta named an 11-member committee to be part of the joint Senate and National Assembly Select Committee to deliberate on the IEBC issue.
Uhuru named Senators, Kiraitu Murungi (Meru), Kipchumba Murkomen (Elgeyo Marakwet), Beatrice Elachi (Nominated) and Fatuma Dullo (Nominated).

include Gatundu South MP, Moses Kuria, Cecile Mbarire (Runyenjes), Naomi Shaaban (Taita Taveta), Jimmy Angweyi (Kitutu Chache), Ben Jomo Washiali (Mumias East), Eng. Mohammed Mahmoud (Mandera West) and Soipan Tuya (Narok).
Just after naming the 11-member committee, Raila rejected dialogue saying the dialogue process should be at the Presidential level.
Following Raila’s response, Mutahi Ngunyi gave President Uhuru Kenyatta advice on dealing with the octogenarian.
Mutahi advised Uhuru not to give in to Raila’s demand and instead give him a contempt card.
“On IEBC, Raila wants a DOUBLE-BIND. If Uhuru agrees to DIALOGUE, he LOSES. If he REFUSES, he looks BAD. What Raila NEEDS is the CONTEMPT CARD,” Mutahi wrote.
